Days 3 & 4: Penn Street Prattle

Song number two! I had a lot of fun with this one. Not sure about the name but it's all I could think of haha. My computer didn't want to render the final video cause there was so much going on, but I sweet-talked it into cooperating. If you like it, become a follower and link it to your wall so your friends can check it out! (just trying to get as much exposure as I can haha). dan

  1. I like how you walk off at the end. Dramatic closure to an interesting bit of music.

  2. When the singing comes in it sounds like Radiohead. I like it. Also the bass piano part is pretty funky.

  4. Dan, I love this!! It could've gone in so many different directions...I think you could do a whole song with just the different drum beats that would be super cool. I loved the rest too, of course! I kept picturing this as playing during the opening scenes of a movie. It would be super cool on a soundtrack! I second the comment about your dramatic closure of walking away from each bit. Sweet effect!

What software are you using? I love the video of your various layers! Can I share this with my technology class?!?!?! My teacher would think it's wicked cool! :)

  5. yeah, of course you can show it to your class! I am trying to get as much exposure as possible, so that would be sweet! I'm using sony vegas for the video editing and cubase for the music recording.
